In the recent Apple Event, popularly known as WWDC 2017, Apple launched their first smart home system known as the HomePod. Interestingly, this device is scheduled to release in December 2017 but has already given a head-on competition to Google Home and Amazon Echo. It is at an unbeatable yet premium price of $349, almost twice as much of Amazon Echo.
What is HomePod?
In simple words, it is a speaker that allows you to play music, operate home appliances and much more through the command of your voice. Let me show you a video from the WWDC to state my point,
As you can see, the HomePod would look like any other ordinary bluetooth speaker but it would have the effect of a perfect home entertainment system ready for you. You can change the music, command it to change the music even when it is playing music in full volume. Additionally, if you have more than one HomePod in one room, it can automatically detect the other devices and co-ordinate in such a way so as to give you a lifelike effect of music.
The look and feel of Apple HomePod is also quite different from that of Amazon and Google. It has 7 tweeter speakers which create a powerful sound effect from and till where-ever you are!
