Xiaomi just unveiled their truly Bezel-less phone that ad-measures about 5.99 inches with just a tiny bezel at the chin of the phone. The aspect ratio on the phone is a stunning 18:9. The Mi Mix 2 has been one of the most awaited phones of 2017. You wont really get a hands on because this phone isn't available just everywhere, but in select places only. At the moment it is in China.
Some of the highlights of the Mi Mix 2 are - a 12% smaller body as compared to the earlier 6.4 inch Original Mi Mix, 2.5% thinner and about 11.5% lighter. The body of the phone is covered with a ceramic coating and the camera ring features 18k gold plating along with the use of 7-series Aluminium body. The phone will also feature the so - called Global LTE smartphone that will support for 6 modes and 43 bands of LTE connectivity.
The phone is going to be running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, so yes no 836 for the Mi Mix 2. The display is a Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels and will come in with 6 GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to be priced at at about Rs. 32,300/- for the 6Gb and 64 GB version and Rs. 35,300/- for the 6GB/128GB version, and finally Rs. 39,200/- for the 6GB/256GB variant. There is also going to be a Special Edition model which will be encased in full Ceramic shell, and expected to be priced at about Rs. 46,000/- which will have 8GB of RAM.
